hammerlockthree 2,635 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) Vak, you and hammer should greatly enjoy this Sunday. Iowa is going to win. Iowa is a total lock this year at NCAA. Your Hawkeyes can't lose this year. I get the feeling that everyone else is wrestling for 2nd place. :-) I just got called an idiot on the other thread for saying Iowa couldn't shut out the dual for the same reason they won't be a rock solid #1 headed into nationals, now I have to come over here and get the homer treatment.....hardly seems fair. jammen 336 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 Cael will sit Lawson again and start Gingrich. Hoping that Lawson's unbeaten record will earn a high seed from undiscerning B1G coaches

SetonHallPirate 990 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 hammerlock, I didn't call you an idiot. I basically implied your statement was idiotic. There's a difference.
AKHUNTER 316 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 However, I will say Clark needs to start winning very soon, and keep doing so. He definitely isn't on the momentum train heading in the desired direction. Grothus possibly dropping to 141 (IF he can beat Jeva) has me wondering....... IF that were to happen could we possibly see Jeva drop to 133? I wonder if he is certified for 133. Clark seems a bit small for 133. He certainly has problems with guys stronger than him. jammen 336 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 Great idea. Then Clark can drop back to 125 and Gilman can become a mascot.
AKHUNTER 316 Report post Posted February 6, 2015 don't know if Clark could beat Gilman at this point.

LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 Hate Iowa, but given the away match and their Friday-Sunday turnaround that PSU didn't have, I'm not all that surprised. Great job by Cael though. Didn't see 125 and 149 being so close, and thought Hammond would lose a tight one.
SetonHallPirate 990 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 For example, hammerlock, my computer's prediction of a shutout was idiotic, but that does not make my computer an idiot.

Old_Marine_Wrestler 245 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) Iowa wrestled really well today. Sorenson is something special. He may be the hawks best shot at a National Champion. Edited February 8, 2015 by Old_Marine_Wrestler

TBar1977 4,532 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 Sucks for you sense you thought it was gonna be such a boon for the program. I thought today's result was very good for Penn State. There were some key weights that I was focused on and on balance I thought Penn State wrestled really well at those weights.
Flying-Tiger 617 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 Yes, very happy with the way Penn State wrestled, however I must admit a slight disappointment crossed my mind when I thought about what the score would of looked like with Nico, Retherford and Nolf in the lineup today. Oh well, future looks bright and this team is pretty solid for a "down year".
VakAttack 4,014 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 If you saw the Maryland meet, this wasn't shocking. Penn State just wrestled really tough today. Iowa is still the favorite in March.

hammerlockthree 2,635 Report post Posted February 9, 2015 I regards to Moore, the CONSTANT mentioning in the form of articles and announcers comments of him basically being benched by a perplexed coaching staff cannot have helped.
