How successsful would Nick Moore be if he wrestled at........?

I never paid much attention to Moore until last season when he seemed to have potential as an NCAA finalist opposite of David Taylor. He fizzled out at NCAAs last year and his regression this year makes me wonder if he would be a better fit with any other program. He doesn't seem to wrestle a Brands Hawkeye style or mentality. Maybe a Zalesky hawkeye style at Oregon State would have been better? Iowa State or UNI maybe. The kid was a 4x Iowa st champ so I figure maybe he wanted to stay close to the home fans.

His brother underperformed even more. I wish Iowa would recruit Moores and Ballwegs exclusively

after the season Moore had last year (yes I know about his flame out at Nationals), his only losses were to Taylor at that point, I am totally convinced he has been wrestling hurt this year. Too bad rough way for it to end.

I really just thought he was cooked mentally but after seeing him at the B1Gs, I agree with you, he is probably wresting injured. Unbelievable. I feel bad for him.

Iowa fans consistently over rated Nick. It isn't really his fault he couldn't live up to their lofty expectations. He did about as well as he could given his ability, so hats off to him.

Maybe it's not diagnosable by a bunch of keyboard jockeys? (myself included)
