smitty11 18 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 Where does everybody think he will get seeded at? I thought for all the time he was off he looked pretty good. His conditioning was fine and his scrabbling was outstanding. He is unable to ride and that could hurt him against the top 5 or 6 seeds.
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 He shouldn't get seeded. The loss to Langenderfer really hurts

fullnelson 129 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 It appeared that both arms were hurting; after the tough quarter final comeback, when the ref attempted to raise his right arm, Hunter stopped him while wincing and then had the left arm raised, the same arm that the Ill kid cranked on in the consi semis. Bucksfan 67 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 I agree with Lemon, he should be thrown in random. He only won 2 matches vs low ranked guys and though at times he showed spurts of greatness, those two elbows are just killing his game. Hunter is a favorite of mine but im being convinced his effectiveness is limited to early matches and mid tier wrestlers. If anything, Hunters seed should be one below the Ill kid, should he be seeded.
buf87 84 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 149 will be interesting with Hunter, Kindig and Moreno all dealing with injuries
smitty11 18 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 Yeah 149 could some interesting first and second round matches. Stieber could face Tsirtsis or Houdashelt first or second round. That would be crazy. I think Sorensen should be 3 seed and Habat 4 but my guesss would be sorensen 4 and habat
Bucksfan 67 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Didnt Habat just get beat in his conference tourny? Clagon? He wont be seeded that high Edited March 9, 2015 by Bucksfan
EasyToPin 14 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 Why on earth do you think Sorensen should be seeded higher than Habat?Habat is 32-2. Sorensen is 34-4. Habat beat Sorensen head-to-head at the Midlands. Seems pretty straight forward.
VakAttack 3,994 Report post Posted March 9, 2015 My thought is Habat gets seeded higher, but the argument is easy: Sorenson wrestled a much more difficult schedule and has better wins. Habat's best win is Sorenson himself, while Sorenson has wins over Tsirtsis and Kindig.
Show_Me 336 Report post Posted March 10, 2015 1. Tsirtsis - NW 2, Houdashelt - Missouri 3. Habat - Edinboro 4. Sorenson - Iowa
Jason_L._Jackson 5 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 Hunter should be 1 spot above Beitz. Beat him twice this year.
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 Just watched the highlights against Langenderfer. There's no way Stieber should be wrestling this season. That first takedown was just brutal to watch. Tom Ryan should step in.
hammerlockthree 2,584 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 supposedly he's not susceptible to further injury (based on the previous one)

hammerlockthree 2,584 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) as cheesy as that article was, I believe it. The haphazard way Stieber showed up for that match, at the very very least, made it obvious he wasn't getting pushed out there. LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 http://www.sanduskyregister.com/opinion/mark-hazelwood/7740971 I wasn't questioning Hunter... only Ryan. Didn't say Ryan is forcing him to wrestle either. It's unfortunate they decided to wrestle that match, because the tape is now out. It could get pretty ugly at Nationals and Ryan is putting himself on the line.
hammerlockthree 2,584 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 I don't think Ryan is a great in-the-room coach, or anyone at tOSU for that matter, but he's obviously an administrative BEAST. No way he is on the line in any way. 1 NYWRESTLER94 reacted to this
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) His job obviously isn't on the line... but his rep is. It'll be a shame if Hunter goes out and gets rag dolled (again) by inferior wrestlers Edited March 11, 2015 by LemonPie
