Show_Me 336 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 SHP - I am failing to understand why the 3rd Coaches Ranking / RPI is kept secret likes its a National Security Threat ? Especially considering that he first 2 releases are made public on their website ? Are they fearful of being 2nd guessed and criticized on Seedings ? Please enlighten me as you usually do. SetonHallPirate 988 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 If I had that answer for you, I'd also likely to be the person to ask for tomorrow night's Powerball numbers.
gimpeltf 2,045 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 141 - Is Preston done for the season? I assume he is based on his twitter. Unfortunately, yes.
LkwdSteve 142 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 It's why Kindig did. Stieber went out there to beat beitz and get his team a co-title. (at LU Alum) Actually in the pre-tourney interviews, it seemed that the staff didn't think Hunter could get a wildcard, thus making a qualifying big ten finish (7th or better at 149) necessary. LkwdSteve 142 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 Carp, I can see the logic with Hammond over Wanzek, but I'm guessing what the committee WILL do, not what you think they should. As for McCall and Tavanello, I have to think that's your anti-Big Ten alter-ego posting, not you personally. You're usually much smarter than that. Hope you are right about Tav making it. LkwdSteve 142 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 i'm trying to give the kid some credit... No problem. I think your thoughts can refer to one of the things that influenced him to come out for his conso-semi.

Guest Kingsland Report post Posted March 11, 2015 are you sure staudenmayer is out? I'm not positive, but on the second day of the tournament he was on crutches the whole day, and believed he had torn his pcl.
NJwrestlingguy 106 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) SHP..Why not Phil Bakuckus at 174lbs? Has a better RPI and coaches ranking then Stanford wrestler. Also you have Oklahoma kid as 1st out at 174 but he was beat by Backukus. He also has a win over Pickett. I think Phil deserves that last spot at 174. SetonHallPirate 988 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 Bakuckas was, if I remember correctly, the very last person on my list at the weight. Zero wins against the field hurts. Badly. To the point of near-paralysis.

Hardly anti-Big Ten...If McCall was hurt, I'd like to see him get in. Tavanello went 0-3, is 13-13 for the year and didn't make his case.
SetonHallPirate 988 Report post Posted March 11, 2015 Quality wins, quality wins, quality wins. McCall and Tavanello each have four of them, plus McCall has two other wins over guys in the field. Again, I'm not projecting what I think the committee should do, I'm projecting what they will do. 1 BigRedMachine reacted to this
