TripNSweep 747 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 I can't stand that attitude. The call was stupid the ref should have sent it to ot. Let the wrestlers decide.
stp 564 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 I can't stand that attitude. The call was stupid the ref should have sent it to ot. Let the wrestlers decide. Wrong. One of the best ref'ed matched I've seen with all the right calls. Wilps lost the match pretty much because he quit wrestling. 7 Flying-Tiger, hammer, jtothep and 4 others reacted to this
wrestlingnerd 3,000 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 It was a crappy match but why is Brown a _____? I thought his interview was extremely classy. He could've just said he was happy and moved on but he acknowledged it was a shtty ending to such an important match. 7 Old_Marine_Wrestler, madcat11, Flying-Tiger and 4 others reacted to this

RAMONHALE 1 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 The calls were terrible!!! Why should the sport of wrestling or a title match outcome be left to video review.

KCMO2 673 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) The calls were terrible!!! Why should the sport of wrestling or a title match outcome be left to video review. Ummm, because the right calls ended up being made? It would be worse if Brown ended up losing the title match because of an incorrect call. 1032004 1,419 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 I can't stand that attitude. The call was stupid the ref should have sent it to ot. Let the wrestlers decide. I think the ref saw it and was trying to send it to OT. But when you have a challenge you have to make the call if it's there and it was pretty clear. 1 IA_Hawk reacted to this
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 Brown said what goes around comes around. To me that's just not classy. He just came off the mat. Probably just meant that sometimes things go for you and sometimes they go against you.

Win or lose, Brown's been one of the classiest guys in the sport during his career - right up there with the likes of Stieber, Kokesh, etc. 4 BigTimeFan, TheOhioState, IA_Hawk and 1 other reacted to this

I think he already said as much in his interview. He seems like a stand up guy, the kind of person who will be a righteous LEO or member of the military. Good luck to them both. pm-01 25 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 I thought Brown was classy. Why shouldn't lock hands be called? Locked hands is what was keeping Brown from escaping for 1. Either way it was over.
PANewbie 35 Report post Posted March 22, 2015 He was just saying that sometimes luck goes your way and sometimes it doesn't. When he said "what goes around comes around" Brown was referring to his extremely tight loss in the finals 2 years ago to Perry. He wasn't in any way referring to Wilps. He wasn't in any way referring to Wilps.p I wasn't implying he was referring to Wilps. It was obvious he was referring to his match two years ago. That was the whole point of his statement, that two years ago things didn't go his way and this year they did. 1 PANewbie reacted to this
