Yes, it is impressive what he has done at such a young age, but he is not close to producing at the level Brent can at this point in time. He kept the match close with Metcalf, but so did Taylor with JB and there is no way Taylor can produce like JB can. Well we've been waiting for Brent to produce at the international level for years. These early season tournaments are fantastic for US moral, but they seem to do little more than to get our hopes up and then the inevitable let down occurs, year after year. I'd love to see Brent hold Pico off this year and get a final crack at a world level medal, but it is very doubtful Brent makes an Olympic team. Lets keep in mind he's been at best case scenario with the weight change and rules change, yet the result is about the same. It doesn't have to be Pico, I'll settle for Elmer Fudd on the team, so long as he's able to delver when it actually matters. I just don't think Brent is good enough.
