UWW Cadet Thread

Fix tries inside trip, both out of position .. back to feet.  Lee goes in for single -- seems stalemated but Lee pulls it in!  Strong!  Gets 1 pt pushout.

I'd like to see fix get a TD and see if Lee can defend with fix on top.

Lee is relentless.   Lee gets in .. fix trying lift ... again ... no ... yes.  Gets the crotch lift.

Fix, goes in on restart ... almost .... no .. but gets pushout.  wow.

wow .wow .....  then fix gets a roll.  Lee gets behind but can't get Fix's knee down!!  5-5 Fix wins!!!

Lee even tried the head in the hole that Teasdale did and yet Fix was able to keep his knees up!  Crazy.  Seems like if Lee had launched his own feet up in the air, there would be nothing else to do but for fix's knees to come down.  Perhaps not that simple.

A few observations. First, Fix is just an animal, so physical, so strong, relentless as someone said. Lee has insane awareness of where he is at almost all times. Fix was in a position to score so many times and it was only Lee's uncanny ability to know where he was that stopped Fix. Lee seemed a little physically outmatched.

Another (obvious) thought is that Fix just pummeled everyone in the UWW Juniors. Fix recently beat Yianni who just pinned his guy in match one up a weight. Whatever happens here it's safe to say that Lee and Fix are way, way out there.

He is up and walking around now.  Storr was down 0-8 when he got the headlock and then simply flopped Verkleeren over 3 times.  Clearly no defense. Goes OOB, Storr releases him and Ver lays there motionless on his back.  Arms start to flop and then his whole body convulses.  Comes to in the process it seems.

Looks like only 2 of the rolls are being awarded -- third one is not.  8-4 Verk at this point.  2 min left in 2nd period.

i do think Lee has better movement, but Fix wrestled the whole match.

Watching them Lee is an artist and Fix is an animal. Beauty and the Beast, but not a love story. Lee is not yet 17, Fix is already 17. Lee looks like he might hit puberty in a few years. Fix probably doesn't need a fake ID.

It's like the ref was the one who was unconscious.

Yea, I was thinking about the ref.  Admittedly kinda hard to tell if the guys is out ... once he rolls like a fish, can start thinking, he might be out but it goes so quick.   He definitely didn't react quickly when Verk just laid there.  Just kind of stood there and looked at him.  So yes, seems like he could have had wrestler safety a bit closer to the front of his mind.
